Last Sunday, I woke up with lower back pain. I said, "Lord, I am going to church." It was a slow start and I was a little late. Praise the Lord, there was a close parking spot.
Our church has an amazing worship team. During worship I noticed that I was pain free !!!
I could never stand for a long period and I have a hard time getting up. Not that morning! I praised my Father standing up the whole time and was able to get up without any problems. I went home and did some cleaning. Thank You Father God, for completely healing me!
Last year, one of my friends sent me a chat to ask for prayers for their newborn baby. Apparently, the baby has a Hirschsprung Disease and needed operation. At that time, there were struggles because the hospitals were not accepting any patients due to the surge of COVID-19 cases. We prayed and stood in the gap for a miracle, whatever it looked like. I believed that God could fully heal the baby in such miraculous ways that it would bring redemption and restoration to the whole family.
Just a few weeks ago, my friend sent me another chat to share some news. She said that the doctor of the baby recommended the case to a Charity Organization that conducts research to cases like his. The family received a call that the baby had a scheduled date for the operation and all expenses are paid in full! The operation was successful and the baby, who is now a year old, is recovering.
I praise the God for His continued faithfulness and the miracles He does. I believe that He has such huge plans for the baby's life and what an honor to be a part of that because we chose to pray and intercede. This stirs up my heart so much and it reminded me of the power of prayer and intercession, that even despite the distance), God bound our hearts together and heard our prayers.
I praise God for Renewal Sessions last Friday, July 16th. A few months back, I surrendered a toxic relationship to God. I experienced freedom in trusting in God and no longer having to worry about this person and their actions. However, a few weeks ago I found out that my friends situation had actually worsened and everything I feared that could happen happened.
I walked into Renewal Sessions heavy hearted but I had high hopes to be renewed. God was there and He was speaking. "Let it go" they sang, "Don't worry. Don't stress. I hold you in my hands." I had lost hope and stopped believing that God was working because I couldn’t see Him working. These songs comforted my soul and brought me peace. I walked out of those doors no longer heavy-laden but full of hope and peace knowing that God is in control and that He is always faithful.
I’m very thankful to God because I have a group of people that will comfort and support me during rough times. In this past month, I lost my grandmother and it was a very difficult time for me and my family.
I’m thankful and grateful to Him for the presence of the Holy Spirit in every step despite the pain. I am also grateful for my family and my extended CRM family that will continually surround me with love and comfort.
Last weekend, we had plans at a water park, north of Sacramento. The drive was supposed to be about an hour and twenty mins, giving us plenty of time to make our pre-paid 1 to 2 PM time slot. After following the GPS, it took us on a different route that would take approximately two hours to get there. We had to wait over twenty mins for a ferry that was going to take us maybe twenty yards. This means that we now wouldn’t arrive until after 1:30 PM.
I got frustrated but I silently prayed to God. As we continued on our way, I called the water park and someone answered (which is not usual for them). They have rules about no refunds and due to availability, they are not always able to accommodate changes. But after speaking with the worker, they allowed us to make changes, pushing our time slot back to 2-3pm, with no problems. That gave us thirty extra minutes to prepare.
We praise God because we know it was Him who gave us favor even in this area. Even with the drive, it became a scenic route that God allowed us to see things in a different perspective--like the ferry ride. Only God. It’s easy to expect things to go our way and get frustrated when it doesn’t. But when you turn to God and let go of control, He shows us that He’s got us covered. He loves the adventures and He loves us. To God be the glory forever and ever.
I have been here at Christian Renewal Ministries for about five months now. It’s amazing because me being plugged in this community is an answered prayer in itself. My prayer was for me to be a part of a community – a church, that will help me grow.
I came in late January when a friend invited me to come on a Sunday Service. After three weeks of being at the church, that’s exactly what happened. It’s beautiful how this church really took their hearts their saying, “When you come through these doors, you are already a part of the family.” That’s exactly how I felt.
I feel like I have been a part of this family for a very long time through Renewal Sessions and other events. It’s also huge for me to be able to just be myself and connect the real me with everyone. I have grown closer to God because of this church and also to everyone in this family. I praise God for this amazing answered prayer.
